The money

You set every price

There is a $5 minimum per item, because below that the card fee costs more than our share. There is no maximum on anything, and we do not suggest ranges. Your work, your number.

Admory takes 10%

Ten percent of what you sell. You keep 90%. That is the whole arrangement, and it is the same on sessions, written work, and materials.

Families pay to reach you

A family pays $14.99 to unlock your profile and message you. That fee goes to Admory, not to you, and it is what keeps listing free. What you earn is the 90% on what you sell.

When you get paid

Money for sessions and written work is held while the work happens. After it is done the buyer has a window to raise a problem, 48 hours for a session and the same for written work. Once it closes the money is paid to your bank through Stripe.

How to get listed

  1. 1

    Create your account

Email and a password, or your Google account. Takes a minute.

  2. 2

    Build your profile

Your schools, what you studied, and what you are willing to help with. You choose what you sell and what it costs.

  3. 3

    Confirm your school email

We send a code to your .edu address. This earns the verified badge. It is not a gate: you can list either way, and families are told to look for the badge.

  4. 4

    Get approved

A person reads your profile before it goes live. That is deliberate, and it is why families trust the directory.

  5. 5

    Share your link

You get admory.io/yourname. It is built for a bio or a group chat, and anyone who lands on it is already looking for you.

The tools come with it

All of this is in-house. You do not bring your own scheduler, invoicing, or contract.

The verified badge

Confirm your school email and families can see we checked it. Unverified profiles still list, and say so plainly.

Reviews that stay with you

Every review comes from work done here, so nobody can buy a reputation. Your rating stays hidden until three pieces of work are done, so one review cannot define you.

Your own availability

Publish the hours you are free and people book into them. No back and forth, and no double bookings: the database refuses them.

Essays delivered safely

Materials you sell are read in the browser, watermarked with the buyer's name. There is no download button.

Payments held until the work is done

Money sits with Admory while the work happens and is released to you afterwards. It protects both sides of the trade.

Your contact details stay yours

Emails, numbers and handles are stripped from messages until someone has actually paid you. You decide when that changes.

Your own link

Claim a handle and you get a page that is yours to send anywhere. Put it in a bio, give it to a family you meet, drop it in a group chat. Anyone who lands on it is already looking at you rather than at a directory.

What listing looks like

Sample profiles, shown to illustrate the product. These are not testimonials, and no mentor has been quoted or paid for them.

I put my supplements up the week I got in and forgot about them. They still sell while I am in lectures.
Maya, Stanford University
The families who message me have already paid to get here, so nobody is asking me to work for free.
Amara, Harvard University
I set my own hours and my own prices. Nobody at Admory has ever told me what my time is worth.

Questions

Do I have to be verified to list?

No. Verification is a badge, not a gate. Confirming your school email earns the badge and sorts you above unverified profiles, and families are told to look for it. Without it you still list, and your school is shown with a note that we have not confirmed it.

What can I charge?

Anything from $5 up. There is no maximum, we do not suggest ranges, and we never price your work for you. The floor exists because below it the card processing fee costs more than our share.

What does Admory take?

Ten percent of what you sell, so you keep 90%. Separately, a family pays a one-off fee to unlock your profile and message you. That fee is Admory's and does not come out of your earnings, and it is what keeps listing free for you.

When do I get paid?

Money is held while the work happens. After a session is marked complete the buyer has 48 hours to raise a problem, and written work gets the same window once delivery is accepted. When it closes the money is transferred to your bank through Stripe, which you connect from your dashboard.

What am I not allowed to do?

Mentors advise, review, and coach. They never write a student's application for them. Materials you sell are reference, not templates, and every copy is watermarked with the buyer's name. Ghostwriting removes an account, and we will say so to a school that asks.

Can alumni join, or is it only current students?

Alumni are welcome. Your profile lists every school you attended with the degree beside it, so somebody reading it can see exactly where you have been and when.

Do I need a following or an audience?

No. Families find people by searching the directory: school, what you studied, what you offer, where you are from. Your link is useful if you want to share it, and it is not required for anyone to find you.

How much time does this take?

You decide. You publish the hours you are free, and if you sell written work you set your own turnaround. If you only sell materials you wrote once, there is nothing to schedule at all.

Your application is worth something to somebody applying now.
